Marissa received her undergraduate BSN at the University of Rhode Island and graduate MSN-Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Duke University. For six years as a registered nurse, she worked in Surgical/Trauma Intensive Care and for eight years as a nurse practitioner specializing in Neurology in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit.
Marissa grew up in Rhode Island then ventured off to North Carolina after college and lived there for thirteen years before returning back to New England to be closer to family. Outside of work she loves traveling, running and spending time with her husband and two children.
Marissa has a passion for teaching and training new clinicians, quality control initiatives and providing the upmost patient centered care. Ambulatory Infusion Medicine is a fascinating and growing area of healthcare, and she is excited to be a part of the Suite Life team and to serve patients throughout southern New England.
